I know this blog has not been updated much, but I just wanted to tell you about the wonderful opportunity of Honor Band. All you have to do is apply and once your there, you play fun music while hanging with friends and sharing jokes, all the while laughing your heads off. Its even more fun when you have the jokes from last years Honor Band to relive. So, basically, I am encouraging you, if in grade school band, to take a chance and try honor band, it will one of your best experiences.

Today I went and saw Shrek 3 with my family and we snuck in some Smart Puffs since I can't have popcorn into the movie. Shrek 3 was great. It was hilarious and the end was a surprise.
Then after that i went over to my friend Alisse's house and played Guitar Hero 2 and jumped on their trampoline. It was fun but now I'm stiff and sore. Tomorrow I have early church and then me and dad are going to watch together Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed with snacks and stuff. It'll be awesome.That's about it. I will probably stay up a little more then hit the sack. Night.

School is finally over and I'm already hectic. I have golf lessons and College For Kids both at 8:00am. This last weekend though we (My Family) went to Des Moines to see my Uncle Brian, who flew in all the way from Arizona, compete in the Hyvee Triathlon. His brother, John was there too and he was really cool. Brian finished 96th and got a P.R. (personal record) of 2 hours and 55 minutes.He was the first Arizonian to finish in his Age Group. He probably would have finished sooner if someone hadn't rammed into him in the bike portion of the race. We were all surprised when he told us that, but we could tell when he crossed the finish line that something was wrong. He is probably flying back to Arizona by now though. I will really miss him even though he and Leah and the girls, Gabrielle, Abigail, and Emma are coming in a few weeks for the Bennett Family Canoe Trip.

12 days ago, I went to Arizona to meet my cousins, Abigail, Emma, and Gabrielle(4,2,6)and my aunt and uncle, Brian and Leah. We rarely get to see them because we're in Iowa, so it was a big deal. They have an in-ground pool, so we swam in that for a few hours. Two days later, we had visitors. They were my second cousins and aunt and uncle, Stephan, Billy, Jon-Jon,and their parents. I got along with Stephan, since he is my age. We played pool for awhile and then swam in the pool for 4 hours. After that, we had a birthday party for Gabrielle. The next day I went walking with my grandparents(they came too.)and saw a Gecko! Then after that day we set off to Seal Beach,CA. We went to the beach there and had a great time.We took some sand with us. After the beach, we went to Disneyland!!!!! We checked in at the Grand Californian Hotel. We went to Downtown Disney after that day and had a blast!! Then the next day we all went to the Disneyland park. We went on about have the rides,and got 6 autographs from the characters in ToonTown. The next day we went to the California Park and went on awesome rides! The next day we went back to Disneyland park and rode Space Mountain. It was the best roller coaster of all time! Then we went back to Leah and Brien's house. We played Sorry and I got in second place. On Monday we went back home and now I really miss them. I feel like part of me is gone. I don't do what I usually do, like play video games and read. I'm depressed. I'll keep on writing though.

Its been while since I last posted on here. So far schools out and I'm going to Arizona to spend some time with my cousins, and then onto Disney Land in 7 days. I'm so excited that I'm about to burst with anticipation. Meanwhile, my family is going haywire. They're going out and buying stuff for the trip like crazy. I'm not that worried about that stuff tough. That's about it.

On Monday, nothing much happened. On teusday though, my teacher was in a baaaaad mood. After school I went to my sisters soccer practice. My grandparents came, and she scored her first goal. Yesterday I watched the NFL Draft basically all day and watched half of today. My dad was really excited when the Vikings picked Chad Greenway and some other guy from the University of Georgia. Then we went to a brunch at my church. My mom made three different kinds of dessert. And that's about it for today.

I forgot to tell you that yesterday I had popcorn too. Today I finished a comic book and started another comic book along with a book by Lois Lowry called "Gathering Blue". I got to read the first two chapters " Gathering Blue" and got to page fifty-three in the comic book. My teacher at school today wasn't in the best of moods today though. My song in music class is getting easier to do now though. The ending is what really has me stumped though. I think I might want to ask my music teacher about it though. Tonight there is a play, but I don't think I'll go, since its about the little mermaid.

Today I went to my dads work. I've been here before, but I wanted to come back. When I came in, I got an ID card and had some donuts and Orange juice. I filled out a fake resume and started to work on a packet. My dad had to get back to work. After he went, some speakers came and told us about what they do at Verizon Business. One person caught my interest because he worked on a project that enabled you to call someone on the computer. When the speakers were all done, we went to a conference room and had a conference call with some kids in Chicago. When we were done with that we went back down to the place were the speakers had been and our parents came down to eat pizza with us. After we had lunch, my dad and I went to my dads cubicle. He showed me how he fixed a problem with a file and I got to listen in on a conference call. Then we went to a coffee shop and got a smoothie. Then we went out and sat on a park bench for awhile. While I was out there, I saw the weirdest thing. There was a sign that was advertising a play that wouldn't be out for seven months. I was like "wow, That must be a big play for them to advertise seven months in advance." Then we came back to work and he showed me how to write a blog.
